Self guided walks in Cornwall free download
Free Walking Guides
Welcome to some free downloadable walks in Cornwall around the Helford river, Fal Estuary and the Roseland Peninsula on these pdf's.
Why not use them on our Falmouth Walking and Music Festival Saturday 24th September to Sunday 2nd October? More details to come.
There are many options of walks to choose from with choices from short 3 mile walks to 7 mile circular walks.
All I ask is that you give me feedback and maybe even join us on facebook and twitter.
Just spread the walkitcornwall word and maybe even join us on a Cornwall walking break or to Corfu and Menorca abroad.
Walking is also about getting lost and joining up the places at the periphery of ones knowledge. Plus gaining an innate sense of direction and "being" (it needs further elaboration which is on ongoing major driving force and reason for this website but trust me) but with these pages and guided walks you can get lost within safe boundaries.
To start, click on the text of the walk you want. It will open up a page with directions on. No map but OS Explorer maps 105 and 103 will bwe your guides too.
Here is another walk that I wrote up for a magazine a while back and there will be more
Durgan circular walk
Takes in Helford Passage, Trebah Gardens, Durgan, Rosemullion Head, Carwinion woods and Budock Vean Hotel for a cream tea. There's lots of other quiet beaches with lots of flora and fauna and rock pooling to be done. Peace and quiet.
