Today's walkitcornwall quote

Only when the last tree has been cut down, Only when the last river has been poisoned, Only when the last fish has been caught, Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.— Cree Indian Prophecy

Of course Paul’s deep knowledge of the region, its flora and its beauties – and not to forget his patience and his humor – have made me feel like it all was too short.  As a result, my eyes and my brain are full of new images and new knowledge.

– Jean-Claude B, Switzerland.

What you need to bring with you on a walk

I spent three great years 2005-8 at the Uni of Exeter, Cornwall campus under the Institute of Cornish Studies doing an MA to get an academic view of what Cornwall is and has been and will be. This is my dissertation on how the partners involved with Cornish landscape and management, especially on the Lizard peninsula, view the importance of management, and what influences them.

A manifesto of sorts to give you an idea of our approach to walking. This not only applies to our 7 night 5 day walking holiday but also to our Lizard walking holiday and all our day walks. We love walking, we live walking.
