Hello. Do you want to go on a walking trip that takes into account what your personal preferences are?
Check my google reviews here
I want you to come on a trip that I would like to be taken on where the guide knows what I am interested in….and knows the paths less travelled and how to avoid the crowds.
Oh, and here are my tripadvisor ratings.
Cornwall Mainland (based in Falmouth).
Saturday April 25th – Saturday May 2nd (walks 27th – 1st inclusive)
Sunday July 6th – 13th (walks 8th -12th inclusive)
Tuesday September 29th – Oct 6th (walks 1st – 5th inclusive).
Staying in Falmouth ‘the’ maritime town of Cornwall, we spend five full days of guided walking in different parts of Cornwall within the seven night holiday.
The groups consist of up to eight people and we do mainly circular walks which are between six and nine miles (9-14km) based around the South West Coast Path.
Your average walking day consists of being picked up at 9.15am in my nine seater VW Caravelle (Ellie, as named by my children). Depending on the weather and wind direction I will choose where we are walking for the day. Local knowledge and some good weather watching works wonders.
We are walking by 10/10.30am and walk leisurely until around 5pm returning to Falmouth normally no later than 6pm. The walkitcornwall Packed Lunch is a real variety consisting of a sandwich and other snacks including fruit and veg, energy bars, crisps, biscuits and even cake.
I also have tea and coffee available at the end of the days walk. Special diets are catered for once you have notified me on the information forms I send out when you book.
It’s a personalised walking holiday.
All you need to think about is turning up.
Let me send you a Cornwall mainland walking holiday brochure

Cornwall is a Celtic country with stories of geological wonder, myths and legends, of a landscape that has given inspiration to many artists, writers and poets. It has been awarded UNESCO world heritage status for its mining heritage and there are many International, National and local designations of Areas of Natural Beauty, National Nature Reserves, Special Areas of Conservation, Voluntary Marine Conservation Areas and Sites of Special Scientific Interest. In short, It ain’t Half Beautiful:-)
The Lizard Peninsula, a Jewel in Cornwall’s crown which attached itself to Cornwall 375 million years ago and is unlike anywhere else in Britain.
The far west, Penwith, which is the land of Granite, myths and legends and archaeological features like stone circles and standing stones.
The Roseland Peninsula, an area out of the way from the mainstream, with the quietest country lanes, old estates and wonderful bays and headlands.
The craggy North Coast stretching from Lands End up to Padstow with high cliffs, long beaches and fabulous bays
Cornwall’s landscape has a variety of habitats and the coast can be steep in places and then around the corner are sheltered sandy bays. So I must stress that a certain level of fitness is required. You must be able to walk between six and nine miles per day for five consecutive days. The walks are not route marches. For me it is the journey, not the destination.
We stop, we take in the scenery and often we will do a five mile walk with a spot of swimming or beach gazing and scrambling. It’s your holiday so like in my musical evenings, (yes a professional piano entertainer in my time) I do take requests. But in the main we walk 6 – 9 miles per day in different parts of Cornwall (an hour away from Falmouth in all directions) taking in the flora and fauna, myths and legends, maritime stories of shipwrecks and smuggling, anecdotes on mining and fishing and so much more. Looking for the DNA of Cornwall!
